My Bio
My name is Per Svanström, and I'm a self-taught pencil artist.
Drawing has always been a big passion in my life but only as a hobby. I have been making serious portraits for almost ten years and for every drawing I make I learn something new. How to draw different textures, sex, hair, skin etc. - It is all about experimenting. - To have fun when drawing. - That is how you learn.
"What I like most about drawing is to take on a new challange and to learn how to draw all shapes and colors in the gray scale.
It's not about making it look like a photo. I like the illusion of photorealism a drawing can make but you should still be able to see that it's made by pencil."
